About the Exhibit

John Doe was a project created to inspire. With current conflicts happening around the world, John Doe aims to show people that civilians are more than just a name, a number, or a record in a medical book. They are people who need to have their voices heard. Over 100 years ago in the First World War, millions of soldiers lost their voices. All we can do today is encourage change. Let John Doe show you that disabled people deserve agency, and that civilians who are victims of war, are not just another statistic.

The wounds are horrible, and I for one will be against wars in the future. You have no right to ask men to endure such suffering. It would not matter if the wounds all did well but they are practically all septic
